VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT (IMPORTANT.. PLEASE READ)

  1. Each family is asked to volunteer  24 hours per school year, 12 hours per semester .

  2. There are a variety of jobs that parents can choose from. Some jobs will require parents to be on site and others may be done at home. It is the volunteer's responsibility to sign in.

  3. For families that do not have time to volunteer at all there is a buyout option of $400 per family for the whole year,  in order to pay other people to cover for you.

  4. If you don’t accomplish the 12 hours by the end of each semester , the school will cash the volunteering check.

  5. ALL Families will need to  hand us two un dated checks aon the first day of school, August 25 with the amount of $200/each, paid to WVMA/RSS and we either void when you reach 24 hours of volunteering or  cash it if you didn’t volunteer at all.

VOLUNTEERING OPTIONS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND CONSIDER ONE OPTION)

  1. Traffic Patrol :from 8:50 to 9:35 am & 2:20 to 1:30 pm

  2. Yard duty: School building and bathrooms.

  3. Playground duty : playground and surrounding areas during recess and lunch breaks.

  4. Safety Regulation: CPR training /emergency preparedness.

  5. Social Committee.

  6. Snack and lunch menu organizers: Put a plan of what to purchase and from where ; must be presented ONE month ahead

  7. Food purchase and food service.

  8. RSS’s van organizer/ School supply list.

  9. Teachers and parents appreciation day helpers.

 

Buyout

  • If you don’t accomplish the 24 volunteering hours by the end of the year the school will cash the checks.
